multiple people have gotten it to work.I used to work for Target. I'm calling bullshyt. You can't combine a price match with a coupon anyway. It's against company policy. Also Target doesn't stack coupons. You can stack a Redcard discount with a coupon and that's it.

Even if and that's a big if that person managed to get one at that price it isn't going to be reproducible because he got lucky with a chain of multiple ignorant employees who violated company rules.
Actually I think I just won. I actually thought I'd try one more time for the price match (only tried once before), after getting TECH, registry, wish list and red card +$20 gift card. Got successful price match almost instantly.
So ended up being $221 + tax (~$239 in CA), and I got a $20 gift card off that. So out the door it was net $219. Considering I sold my old PS4 for $240, I actually made money on the Pro. Sure I took Target through the ringer, but I give them a ton of honest business otherwise....
Got it for $287+tax on Target.
I went to chat support initially, but they said I'd have to call to get the price match and coupons applied. Was on the phone with a very kind and patient CSR for about 40 minutes and got the $40 price match, total 20% off (10% from the wishlist code and 10% from the tech code) to get it to $287 before tax. If I had a REDcard I probably could've gotten another 5% off, but over the years I've gotten a bit paranoid about fraud (I realize you typically get your money back, but just the hassle of going through the process if it happens) and just prefer not to open up any more debit or credit cards if I can help it. Plus I get 1.5 back from my credit card, so the difference is actually 3.5.
After trading in my current PS4 on Amazon for ~$150, difference should come out to about $160. Still a decent chunk of money and perhaps not that amazing a benefit to me not owning a 4K TV, but I told myself when the Pro announced that if I could upgrade for less than $200, I'd probably do it.
So hopefully it's still worth the $160 to go from PS4 to PRO for a 1080p TV owner.
