I still can't get over Sony basically giving us the middle finger on trade in upgrades to a PS4 Pro. They're clearly not doing any promotions at all to trade up.

Just another thing Microsoft does that Sony won't. when the One S came out they gave at least a minor boost on trades for one.

I still can't get over Sony basically giving us the middle finger on trade in upgrades to a PS4 Pro. They're clearly not doing any promotions at all to trade up.

I assume it's up to the retailer, as they're the ones that will also sell the used hardware

No when you see those extra trade in deals on consoles the manufacturer pays for that.
