I'm talking about the pre-release. If they didn't make the PS5 white, no one would be as hyped or even care as much. The color scheme and 4k gaming is literally what all the excitement is about... I just remember being more hyped for the ps4 than I am with the 5

PS5 has sold more in preorders than the ps4 had sold in first 12 weeks.

Seems like getting a ps5 is pointless if you don't have a 4k TV

This isnt true at all considering that features like ray tracing will only work in 1080p.


You will still get benefits through performance mode if you dont have a 4k TV. Next gen got bum nikkas covered.

PS4 launch lineup was fairly weak in retrospect. I’d say the launch lineup for PS5 + Backwards compatibility enhancements is much more interesting

GTA: SA is the only one I can think of , and its playable on PC and PS3.
