Judging by the page count in the official thread, judging by online polls, word of mouth, preorder numbers on games on both consoles, I guess not.

Say it's Sunday and you want to watch the game, but you want to play some NBA 2K14 at the same time. You can watch your game on the TV and stream your game to the Vita.

Maybe you want to continue gaming but have to use the bathroom, you can do so.

Maybe you want to lay up in your bed and play while laying next to your girl who is watching love and hip hop or some shyt like that.

It's a matter of convenience and if you find a strong wifi connection outside the home you can play where ever you are like having access to your games to play in a hotel.

lol X1 can watch Nba and play 2k14 on the same screen. And you would not be able to that outside the the home due to latency no matter how good the wi-fi connection is.
