"Xbox record that"...

Though Im disappointed in my purchase of X1, that share button is nothing to brag about

Xbox's record goes back 5 minutes right? Or you have to say "Record that" before it knows to do so?

They need better share options than just facebook and twitter. Id like to be able to upload the videos to drop box or something

I'm sure more options are coming down the road. The system hasn't even been out 6 months, but the OS and their vision on how this feature would work has been pretty spot on so far.

From what I can tell, it depends on the game. Some games record the last minute or so, depending on the situation. When you do something that you want recorded, you say the command and it records what you've just done. it's always recorded a little more than I wanted, but has never missed what I wanted to record.

The share button ain't a bad idea, but most ppl just want to see the "highlight", not the last 15 minutes. I don't have hands on experience with PS4 yet so I could be wrong and there may be a way to change the time that the share button records up to

PS4 is always recording the last 15 minutes, so when you hit the share button it captures it for you. From then you can easily trim the video down to have that "highlight" moment.

For example...

:banderas:

Nobodies just hitting share and just uploading all 15 minutes breh, well at least I hope not

I've only used it with Titanfall, and that only records the last 30 seconds when you say "Xbox, record that."

To get 5 minutes, I've only been able to do it by snapping the Game DVR(had to keep it snapped throughout) and then you either let the time run out or end the clip yourself to let the video render and save. Then you take it through the Upload Studio Process. Sony had the right idea by streamlining the whole process instead of having to go through separate apps like the One. The fact that the PS4 always records is great. Maybe I'm missing a better way to record video on the X1.

I was wondering why the One footage I've seen on here was so short, now I understand why.

:wtf:

You don't have any friends that play videogames?

not really honestly, might be one or 2 who are a "gamer", while the rest is casual as fukk (nba 2k/madden, FPS), but I couldn't imagine explaining some sh!t that happened in the MP mode of some game, like it was some amazing moment...imagine if Al bundy was talking about 4 TD's in madden... :camby:

edit: posting on here makes sense it's a guilty pleasure but I thought all the super nerd sh!t stayed on the forum...

I see what you're saying, but it's all relative.

I have 2 younger brother's who game, and a close friend who does too. I might bring up something that happened, but I usually just say, "Man peep the video I just put up online" :mjpls:

They'll be on some hatin' shyt like, "You aiiiight" but that's expected.
