Nah, the PS4 Slim if real would be like the Xbox One S e.g. just a slimmer PS4 with a few refinements and stuff here and there. 4K would probably be just for bluray movies and netflix.

The PS4 Neo would be a much bigger improvement hardware wise. So if you have a PS4 Neo, games that you play on there would have way better graphics and performance. It'd presumably support true 4K gaming. Like there would be some games that actually render in 4K and shyt.

If it was cheaper than that they would have announced it already. The one thing it will not be for sure is $400 and be as powerful as the early specs of Xbox Scorpio. That seems to be the fanboy chatter round these parts and it just doesn't seem like a very sound approximation

PS4slim to be $299
PS4Neo $399, but no more than $449. With a $50 price drop when the Scorp comes out next year.



Slim will probably be in store immediately following the Sep 7th conference. I can see the Neo launching right at the end of September.


Hopefully there are some good tradein deals. Reup live one more time to wrap up sunset, then trade the xbone in.

How do you know if it has 4K?

From what the rumors are it is just a re-release of the current ps4 in a smaller edition. Xbox one S was a minor upgrade but this is just a new version of the current device.
