PS4: The 1080p 60Fps Dream

Again, someone please show me a multiplatform title that runs better on the Xbone than the PS4.

Xbots are oohhing and awwing at early 1st party titles running at 30fps meanwhile they compare those 3-4 games to a racing game which was always 60fps on even the 360, JUST AS Gran Turismo is. Funny enough, these same xbots are ignoring that their flagship racing title doesn't even have night time nor weather cycles compared to a last gen racer that's coming out. Besides forza, Titanfall and Killer Instinct, where are the games that were playable at 1080p/60fps on Xbone hardware?


Is watchdogs 60fps? IDK but I'm sure it won't be on the Xbone and WON'T be on the PS4 version.
BF4 on PS4 is 60fps.
ACIV is 60fps.

It was the PS stans who said ALL games on ps4 could meet that level and it would be the Xbox one that couldn't due to the lack of having Gddr5.

This thread is just to prove that the "power discrepancy" is not that large, if it exists at all.

Anyway, you(not you directly) have to be stupid to think PS4/Xbone will give you 60fps on ALL games at 1080P for years to come. You can bet that the only games that will be 60fps will be most FPS, racers and fighting games. The exception being devs who want to push more visuals at 30fps than at 60fps.

People saying Killzone should be 60fps because BFIV is 60fps forgets that Killzone games always are at the forefront of amazing graphics. I can bet that the final product will blow away BFIV on consoles visually. BFIV has buildings and lots of crazy effects going on but didn't earlier rumors state that the game would run in 720P/60fps for next gen consoles??

EA DICE's upcoming next-gen Battlefield FPS will run on PS4 and Xbox 720 and will utilise a new Frostbite 2.5 engine running at native 720p at 60fps.

The game will be set in China in 2020 but retains a modern day, rather than futuristic, feel.

The game will also support 64 players in one game as opposed to a 24 player limit for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the title.

The game will feature dynamic weather effects including rain, fog, sandstorm and haze, which would be random.

Destructible buildings will also be in the game thanks to a new Destruction 4.0 engine.

People keep saying "bu bu bu but BFIV 1080P/60fps!!!" That's incorrect. NOWHERE have I seen online/offline says BFIV will run at 1080p. They only say 60fps and 64 players online.
KZ:SF runs at 1080P. Nuff said.

Driveclub I heard it's open world. If Driveclub is open world and graphics are improved and better compared to Forza's linear world then that speaks for itself.

It's as simple as this..whether the devs drop the ball or not is a different story..in which I think there is no excuse for imo...but whatever the Xbox One can do..the PS4 can do better as far as games go...no other way around it..same architecture..PS4 is just more powerful..simple mathematics..there's literally no way of getting around it...if devs drop the ball remains to be seen...also..most high end PC's ain't maxing out their games at a constant 60fps...it all depends on what the devs sacrifice this gen..fps vs extreme graphics...I think they should atleast aim for 40-45 fps tho..

How is that even fair?? People are shouting out at the top of their lungs that Forza will be 1080P/60fps yet quickly forget that it's lacking weather and night time effects as well as it being strictly linear.

Comparing that to a open world racer that's in pre-alpha stages with comparable graphics?? Yea you're right, that isn't fair. Xbots

BF4 running 720p/60FPS on console gets a pass from me considering the game will have 32v32 player matches and destructible environments and shyt.
