This will limit the shyt these games can do for Xbox at least until they're fully exclusive since the CPU in the Xbox One and Xb1X are limited as fukk. No matter which way you cut it, games will be held back if they're made with support for older consoles. Graphics will look fine but physics and other tech will have to be scaled down or removed.

Until we see Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 my point still stands. I already said the graphics will be fine which they were fine. If Horizon 2 on PS4 looks and plays the same except runs at lower base resolution and has lower quality graphics then it's obvious it's held back to some degree.

I think if you look at the new AMD chips you'll find that they can produce the same data with different results.

Do you want to go 0-80 or 0-60?

The gaps aren't going to be ps2 to ps3 anymore, unless y'all really want a price jump.

The advantages of the 5 with the SSD, silence and games not being compressed sorts the difference. But then again, you're not going to have a seamless experience of a Returnal or Ratchet on the 4.

At least we're getting PS5 only R&C. But this forced cross gen thing is killing the next gen experience from a gameplay advancement standpoint. Every developer is eager to sell their prettier ps4 gamers w/ raytracing, 60fps, and faster loading

I understand it's about getting every penny possible but PS5 sales of all these games will dwarf the PS4 versions. I'd like to see a real cost breakdown of how much extra they get for making the old gen versions.
