u don't have to yell it cancels out the noise from surround sound and is listening for your voice

If you actually read what I wrote, you'd see that my issue is with the chat voices going over the speakers, not the kinect voice recognition itself. If you've ever played a multi-player game without using a headset, the voices aren't always clear going over the speakers. I'm not trying to turn my surround sound all the way to the max just to hear someone talk at 2 am.

fair enough....but you have to deal with more than just chatters in multiplayer games, ppl playing random rap music, other shenanigans

i comprehend just fine lil nikka... you called the ear piece trash for no reason other than your personal preference. the piece is used for chatting. THATS IT...i'm guessing you plug it into your controller... so its not blu tooth, so it probably wont even pick up noise in the background

its just like the xbox 360 headsets right now. can you hear a litttle back ground noise? sure. but not much.
