I think a big gripe some have with the modding is it's seeming inconsistency. Throwing offtopic Courtdog threads into one large merged thread, but let the random no names clutter up the forum with worse stuff. Editting Meach titles but allowing Rekka's half truths to flow endlessly the months surrounding E3, in the name of website traffic. Stickying xbot exposal threads when a recent Goldenglove one was left to flop along with the past threads on ChrisDorner. There's never 100% satisfaction with mods, but more apparent consistency should balance the pool of complaints.
Yea, however we don't have the same type of community. TRR was definitely Xbot dominant, but everyone got at each other when fukkery hit the fan. When hiphoplives4eva was thrown to there, we all got shots in. When that enormous thread on moneyshot was stickied, we all got shots in. Everyone had fun with the mook, chewy, kmom, detroit_red circle. Mowgli roasts were great (they aways backfired
). And of course the court thread was a frenzy until lames took it too far.
Here, everyone is so nut hugged up on eachother over console allegiances that it bleeds into all interactions. Compartmentalize your stanning is a lost art for too many. nikkas take video game discussions too personal to have fun with it.
Here's an example for those unfamiliar. If a thread pops off tomorrow about how fugly, broke, and swagless Fatboi is, it'd be mainly Xbots in there throwing shots and I'd be surprised if it made it past 3-4 pages. Let that be Meach tho and we'd have a 20+ page roast going on with sony stans pouring it on heavy. On SOHH, both these shyts would be instant classics with everyone getting their jabs in.
