I suspect more ppl will get a chance to be selected than we think if they’re really making 9-10 million units with the expectation to sell them all before the year’s end...the more early preorders they can guarantee the better for them reaching those sale numbers

That's not Sony's allotment tho, just the total they hope to produce. What are the typical splits when the producer owns a storefront but still sends units to big-boxes? Maybe Apple is a good example
