Smartest move. But there's no chance of 499 for the PS6 now. 550 minimum and that's without a disc drive. You know they'll make sure the PS5 drive isn't compatible with the PS6

$500 digital ps6 and $550 ps6 with a disc drive bundle, the same as the new prices. $80 to $100 attachable disc drive exclusive to the ps6 with no previous versions being compatible. I think Sony will see what the sales of the ps5 are at these prices and act accordingly, with $500 and $550 being the new standard. The ps6 pro will be $750 to $850. That won't sell well though. Not sure what the ps6 pro would upgrade since the ps6 should be able to do 4k/60 at quality setting graphics using upscaling or dynamic 4k. This is with the assumption that the ps6 doesn't release until 2029 or 2030 at the earliest.

They held out for as long as they could and offered discounted bundles for the entire spring and summer damn near. You cant escape the fukkery and bullshyt that your favorite company tried to manifest.
