In the time Nintendo was fukking around i had several friends that were able to buy PS5s for the low and various accessories that are still the same price today. It's really not the same but yall gonna say its fanboyism to note the differences. shyts silly.

Sony is a corporation. All they care about is generating profit. The ps5 was always going to increase in price because of the tariffs. This is only occurring now because Sony waited until stocks depleted before increasing the price. There were sales to get rid of stock. Sony also probably wants to sell the ps5 at $600 but can't because of what occurred with the ps3. The way this affects sales remains to be seen. The current sales rate could remain the same or decrease.

The way nintendo generates its profit is particularly hostile to their fans…High prices for comparatively weak hardware…games available for a limited time…shytty digital terms and online support…full price to upgrade games…etc

Sony is a bit better…Cheap game upgrades…they eventually allowed cross play…digital games locked to their store…etc.

Xbox had to pander to their audience since they were in last place: Play anywhere..Smart delivery…free cloud saves/games…etc.

Whatever approach Nintendo is using against consumers, the rest would given the chance. All of these corporations will push boundaries to see what consumers tolerate. The way a corporation treats consumers is up to the consumers.
