Even down to your sig.

You got me on there for making a mistake with time zones like it’s some uncommonly egregious mistake and you did the exact same thing.

This whole discourse is just so weird. Companies don’t owe it to consumers to price a certain way and consumers don’t owe it to companies to buy their products.

A company raising the price of their products especially when it’s known the cost of the product has gone up isn’t anti-consumer.

The people that run these companies have a responsibility to enrich the shareholders not please the customers. Their attempts to please customers are a means to enriching the shareholders and they do it when it serves that goal.

All this is especially wild in video games where consumers latch on to corporations with this whole attitude of they’re my buddy and we’re on the same side attitude. That couldn’t be further from the truth. While fans hold positive feelings towards the company to a corporation fans are cattle to be milked.
That's why there should always be competition. so that corporations are not completely terrible towards consumers. Corporations need consumers.

Crazy times where it’s better to be a day 1

thinking back, paying $400 for the digital version 4 years ago was a lick indeed.

my two homies who also bought digital editions from walmart, were upgraded to disc versions free after walmart took the order and ran out of digitals.

problem is consumers start paying these prices, and it just becomes the 'new normal'. tariffs go away, but these companies see people will pay more, so no need to lower prices :francis:
Same thing happened with Covid inflation.

Prices went up supposedly due to supply issues. Covid lockdowns end, supply issues over. Prices still up.

We aren’t going back to $400 consoles. Dudes better start saving up for next gen right now.

Bought a medium pizza and some bread sticks from Dominos the other day and it was like $25.

I just don't believe that people think $50 is some insane amount to go up by. I mean it's not nothing but it's also not a purchase killing amount either.
