OP only got smoke for Playstation. Never smoke for Nintendo. Dudes releasing the same games over repackaged and he talking about respect 
This is why I'm letting my PS3 collect dust.

But you could definitely have back compat ps1 and 2 games on the ps5 and obviously on the xbox

Digital back compat won't work when there is no legacy to user names an or accounts.

Backwards compatibility isnt a next-gen feature . Want to play a ps4 or ps3 game, buy a ps4 or ps3.
These people arguing against this are the same ones who sold their previous console to get the latest iteration

Nah but for real, Nintendo got away with fleecing Switch users for the same damn games. They could've offered some sort of trade in program, even evil $$ony did that for the PSP to Vita in some countries.

I've never complained about Sony rereleasing or remasters of the vita.
I actually slept on the vita goodness so I'm all about those getting remasters or remakes
PS3 games continue to pop up on PSN for SALE while the loyal stans told me the whole time that it wasn't possible due to the PS3 cell architecture wizardry long lost with the knowledge of alchemy. And yes, my hypocritical self will be buying the MGS collection to play MGS4 on my PS5, but at least I'm not out here making random baseless excuses for sony to cover the stannery. Someone explain to me why I have to PAY for Fear Effect instead of putting in the disc as an authentication key and getting the download for "free" or the disc for countless other retro games that keep quietly popping up individually on PSN for sale.
