Sony has already confirmed it will be BC with the PS4, but now looks like it might also include the previous co soles as well.Who didn't know this tho???we've always heard that the PS5 would be BC since the inception... it was always speculated...

ya I’ve heard several conflicting rumors re: BC w/ PS1-3...the last rumor I heard prior to this was it absolutely was NOT gonna happen but here we are...but as you said PS5 being BC w/ PS4 was always part of the plan...I just realized HHG is the source so I’m now skeptical...dude just simply isn’t as relevant as he used to be...idk how it is he’s the one w/ the “scoop”

But will it be on release? And I mean EVERYTHING PS4 game? And I mean just pop in a disc and play? Because my PS4 broke around 2017 and I never got a chance to finish my library of games. If PS5 is not backwards compatible like the PS2 was then I might as well wait on the PS5 and get a PS4 pro.
