It's not more convenient to complain about this feature for two whole generations. And I still think that is a BS excuse the same people debate about FPS and other shyt that's normal in old video games.

Because these broke boys trade in $60 games for $10 credit towards the next $60 game. Then they trade in their $400 console for $100 to get the next $400 console.

Well in my defense lol

I was moving in the fall of 2014 and I had 2 different PS3 consoles (both OG/slim) & a 360 slim. Before I moved I wanted to get rid of 2 of the 3 consoles I had. So I had seen a GS advertisement saying "trade-in a 360 or PS3 slim and get $175 towards a PS4" was a offer that was hard to refuse. I really didn't know about selling on eBay at the time. I had stopped playing 360 by that point so I took that and a bunch of 360 & PS3 games I didn't want and paid less than $150 for a $400 PS4 that at the time was only on the market for 8 months.

I took the PS3 fat and use that for store credit on some games later in the fall.

And the thing is when I copped both PS3 systems I paid $200 for the OG and $100 for the slim. I never pay top dollar for consoles or games.

I still don't get why, this many generations deep people don't just buy a PS2 or PS3.

too lazy to set up multiple consoles and too lazy to disconnect and reconnect wires. Once you go digital you'll be too lazy to even get up off the couch and switch physical media

but the real elephant in the room is that no one is really trying to play those old ass interior polygons flash looking graphics anymore.

I have a bag of PlayStation 2 games that probably stack eight or nine inches high and once this backward compatibility feature is available I highly doubt I'll be combing through that backlog
