Yeah you did. You just have no idea how a quality online service works, so you didn't notice.

even i gotta admit that was a stone cold comeback.

Actually, its pretty much a well known fact that if you don't want your console banned DO NOT PLAY YOUR JAILBROKEN PS3 online.

Activision pretty much insta bans anyone(or tries to, some people get lucky) that is flagged as having unofficial firmware and that is followed by a sony console ban.

Its why i dont play my ps3 online :yeshrug:

But there are guys who play COD:BOP2 with jail broken ps3s and there are some that use hacks, but I don't think its enough to be considered an epidemic.

PSN has gone down for an extended period at least 3 times since its been around
.

What 3 extended periods of time was this??

XBL none, and personal info of XBL users has NEVER been exposed.

Xbox LIVE is currently down, Microsoft is working hard to fix it - SlashGear
If you’re trying again and again to sign into yourXbox LIVE*account, you’re not alone, and it’s not your fault. According to the Xbox LIVE Status page, several Xbox LIVE services are currently down, and Microsoft is working diligently to correct the issue. Unfortunately, Xbox LIVE seems to have disconnected at quite possibly the worst time, as this is Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s double XP weekend.

Just yesterday

Users may experience difficulties with the following services

:Xbox Tournaments

Affecting the following LIVE Platforms

:Games for Windows LIVE
Windows 8
Windows Phone
Xbox 360 Console
Xbox.com6/17/2013

:Hi Xbox members! Are you unable to get into the action on the Xbox Tournaments application? The down time is related to a scheduled maintenance to make sure apps run better We are working closely with our partner during the duration and will let you know as soon as it's finished. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.

:mjpls:

Yes 7-10 times a year is constant. What other piece of electronics do you know of that needs to update 7-10 times a year? And that's only PSN updates. You also have to update the PSN store and all your apps multiple times per year.
Now could you kindly explain to us how updates are a bad thing

Inconvenience. Every time you turn the ps3 on something needs to be updated. When you download a game from the PSN store it installs, then it asks you to update again. It's a slow inconvenient system that wouldn't need so many updates if the infrastructure was created correctly.

That is a good answer. PSN has gone down so much. Your better off googling it yourself. You are a paying PSN customer, you should care.

But meach you just said Live never goes down for any extende periods of time.. but now you switching to going down for hrs is acceptable??? Even when you're paying money...Meach Live goes down everytime a new title drops breh
No live doesn't go down everytime a new title drops. And again intermittent problems reported by some users is not the same as the ENTIRE service going down for days or weeks. Big difference

:snoop: only a playstation stan would argue that 7-10 updates per year per game/app is acceptable.

I just did some research on the permanent hack that @MeachTheMonster and @Big Suge Knight have spread around so much..and upon close inspection, the shyte has NOTHING to do with PSN being hacked. What it says is that the console is permanently hacked now that the keys were released. Has nothing to do with credit cards or user info being released.

And keep in mind this shyt happened 6 whole years after the console was released...shyt the Xbox was PERMANENTLY hacked so long ago..but i guess they forgot about that? :wtb:

So whats all this about PSN being insecure? BS and FUD spread around by the wounded Xbots :rudy:
The problem with the research a "STAN" does is they look for something to support there warped angle and ignore any other factors. Even if those factors are direct results of the problem. So in this case you over here with no links claiming PSN isn't at risk. My links break down how it is, but :manny:

The most damning info that you somehow misunderstood is the fact that sony cannot release a "patch" to fix any breaches in online gaming because the hackers have access to the lowest level of the PS3's security. So NO UPDATE can fix any PSN related problems. Last of Us is a new popular game. I can create a hack so I am invincible in that game online and nobody, not even sony can stop me. When gamers come across this type of person, they won't even notice at first. If they do, they can make a complaint that does nothing. If sony decides to do something all they can do is ban that account from accessing PSN. That person then makes another free account in 2mins and the fukkery continues.

It doesn't work like that on XBL. They paying for a subscription eliminates most of that unless playing to cheat is a persons M.O?
Games on XBL get patched regularly and anyone who games on Xbox knows this. Infinity Ward never came out and said "Call of Duty is unplayable on Xbox" but they did say that for PS3. Here, let Forbes tell you about it
PS3 Hackers Render Modern Warfare 2 Unplayable, Infinity Ward Can't Stop It - Forbes

And that was BEFORE they lost the "keys" thats how sony dragged its feet on this issue. Some people don't care about there gaming, others do. Thats why some of us will be lag free on dedicated servers while the other side will have to deal with NBA2K Team-up being the same laggy experience its always been. Now its a Playstation Exclusive.

Ask yourself. Is that last line I just said true :youngsabo:

Your whole first paragraph describes you and meach to a T. The whole junk filled paragraph you just typed is invalidated in that when Sony bans you, they ban the console for life. There is no creation of another account to circumvent this.

So all MP games are unplayable on PS3 today?

Can you show any RECENT evidence of this?

If it was as widespread as you make it out to be then my answer would be no it isn't worth paying for. But since I'm not entering modded rooms and shyt when I play online I have no problem paying for it.:manny:
The rooms won't be labled "illegal modded gaming here" so I'm not sure what you thought you'd see :lolbron: But
[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fP_wmaM3IqI[/ame]

How about Naughtydawgs signature "under the level" glitch that plauges Uncharted 2/3 online TODAY STILL. Here's Last of Us showing ND hasn't learned shyt :snoop:

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQp8lghjj54[/ame]

what devs for what games?? show us the documents :pachaha:
:usure:
PS3 Hackers Render Modern Warfare 2 Unplayable, Infinity Ward Can't Stop It - Forbes

Now this link goes into DETAIL about how the hack is affecting YOU the gamer
Call of Duty Multiplayer Now 'Unplayable', Thanks To PS3 Hack | Game Front
And hacked for good just means you can play illegal games using modded firmware to get past the Sony security checks, something that's been true for how long on 360?
XBL when problems arise, are taken care of in a timely fashion. Immediately is a better word. On PSN they are usually NEVER taken care of and NEVER in a timely fashion. The link above has a developer going into it and gives details if you really wanna know. Putting your total attention on the fact XBL had a hacker manipulate a game before does not make the current problems of PSN go away or be less important. You shouldn't even be concerned with how XBL is if you are a PSN fan. You should be concerned about what problems exist for your online service of choice. If XBL was shut down for a month, I'm not gonna say "Well, PSN was down for a month too so this doesn't affect me" :stopitslime:
LMAO at you telling me what I've experienced :pachaha: Xbots gotta chill
Your experience is you didn't know. Now that you do, your like "well ignorance is bliss" and if that works for you then :salute:
The actual problems we are discussing are REAL to the point Infinity Ward said it
PS3 Hackers Render Modern Warfare 2 Unplayable, Infinity Ward Can't Stop It - Forbes
Name a popular online game and I'm certain I can show you. Now this seems like Deja Vu :patrice:

What a clown, I guess we're gonna gloss over this one as if it wasn't one of the worst network outtages in console history.
