The HARDEST hip hop video of ALL TIME. Saw this shyt only one time and talked to my boys about this video for months, years.....NONE of em ever caught it. This shyt was pulled as soon as it was aired. Ice T @ 4:02 mark.
One thing I remember about this era is that it didn't matter if your content was as crazy/nasty as the Geto Boys/2 Live Crew or on that Ice T/Cube/NWA gangsta shyt, muthafukkaz united for the cause/struggle. Shouted each other from west to east to down south. Weather it was censorship, the gov't/police, stoppin the violence, etc.

i remember seeing that down here but it was like 98. i wouldn't be surprised if Rage played it back in the day tho,JJJ radio here supposedly played fukk The Police (i've heard reports it was Express Yourself) on repeat for 24 Hours after NWA go banned from Aussie radio :mrs:

I woke up the day 'Apocalypse '91' came out. Suited & booted up. Hit the ave. Announced the new PE album was out to all the crack dealers within earshot and was swiftly given over 500 dollars and sent to the store for tapes. I of course got my copy.
Can't Truss It boomed from every single fukking ride. I can't recall a more played song aside from the 'Who Shot Ya" maxi single.

yeah most times i heard about someone through The Source or Rap Pages etc or just from features on other albums. i had a good hook up cos one of my older homies used to buy every damn rap cd that came to the shop so i could get a dub of a lot of stuff, he had shyt loads of cd's even back in the early to mid 90's. if there was something i wanted for myself i usually had to order it which was hard in the town i was in, the only decent cd shop didn't do imports so i could only get some stuff when i went away. the rap section at the store was small but pretty well stocked, but only the city stores would get imports in regularly without special orders.

My shyts was fallin apart, had them for yeeeeeaaaaaaars. Used to read along n make sure I was sayin that shyt verbatim. STILL used to say "re-ackin" instead of "re-actin" just like Flav on 911 Is A Joke.
