I'm not seeing what was so special about this? I have been watching a lot of late 90's Raw recently and this doesn't look much different than most Acolytes matches in terms of stiffness

The only thing that was notably stiffer than usual were the 2 Bradshaw front kicks

While this is true, it helped build probably one of the greatest feuds of all time (The Gangstas/Public Enemy). The Gangstas came through and basically pulled their card, so it was up to PE to prove their rep or get ran over. The matches between both teams were straight up

Don't think they care if people are rough with them back, it was more an attitude thing from what I remember reading. Dudley's apparently had a good attitude when coming.
