Diddy the businessman is more impressive IMO than Diddy the artist.
Ghostwritten verses, questionable producer credits (what did he actually do on those records he "produced"?), and reincarnating the ghost of MC Hammer's career with the whole Bad Boy/shiny suit/"jiggy" era in the late 90s.
With that said, there is no doubt in my mind that he has been responsible for some of my favorite songs.

Mason came out with thein the beginning. Their videos were movies man. We experienced hip-hop at it's top during these years.
THEY WERE! Mini-movies! Victory, hypnotize, and so many others that I'm forgetting now. They set the trend in the late 90s for that. Music videos now (especially hip-hop) just aren't the same.
