OP, pay these weed head ass nikkas no mind calling you weak. nikkas in here waxing poetically about the joys of weed how it doesn't make sense to quit:skip:

Some of you nikkas need to seriously get a grip. If you're going to smoke weed, then it should be a hobby, not a habit.

OP, you need to stay busy to keep your mind of the herb. If you don't have shyt to do, you need to find something. An idle mind is the worst enemy of a nikka trying to quit a habit. Also, you need avoid any triggers that lead you to smoking weed. If you're one of those nikkas that thinks everything in life is better with weed, then good luck on that:francis: You also need to really focus on the positives that come from quitting, which include, saving more money, having a clear mind with more clarity, and becoming healthier overall. If you're smoking weed everyday, your're defeating the purpose because your have created such a high tolerance. Don't let these this is your brain on drugs ass nikkas on the internet tell you no different.

Good luck with trying to quit, I know it can be hard for a lot of people. And truth be told, the people in here are not totally off base when they say "just do it" It is a somewhat mind over matter thing. You just gotta get fed up with trying to quit some shyt and repeatedly failing at it.

You will really have an appreciation for herb once you master your desire over it. I smoke 2-3 times a year tops, and that shyt is like the first time every time I blaze. I actually just smoked for the first time in over 9 months Friday, and I was high for a whole damn day off of .5 of some loud that I couldn't even finish. I'm not smoking again until New Years.

don't know why anyone would want to quit weed. to me it's a mood/performance enhancer in just about every facet of life. when i'm high i think better, feel better, love better... i'm just better. smoking weed really opened up my mind to so many new possibilities.

it doesn't even de-motivate me in the slightest. i smoke a joint before i work out, before i gotta do something for work... if anything i feel MORE motivated after i smoke. i become more focused.

i bet you quitting weed won't fill that void in your life. it's something else.
This.

Whenever I go on a weed sabbatical, nothing gets done, so it's me and not the weed. So now I quit for employment gaining purposes.

:salute:

I'm the same way, I've always been used to doing everything stoned. :yeshrug:

One time I went to an eye exam stoned and I totally didn't think anything of it.

Then the eye doctor was callin in a next eye doctor to have a look at my eyes and they went in another room and were talking...I got so paranoid cuz I was like :lupe: this is unusual, wtf is going on?!?:sadcam:

The doctor came back and was tryin to tell me I had some problem with my eyes, probably cuz I was wearing my contact lenses too long and it was affecting the blood vessels in my eyes or some shyt

I was like :dwillhuh: :lupe:

And then I stopped for a second :jbhmm:

:ohhh:Oh yeah I smoked that spliff before coming...my eyes are probably just bloodshot :mjlol:. :snoop: :russ: :whew:

Grocery shopping stoned can be hard cuz you get so fukkin hungry sometimes :bryan: and can end up buying all kinds of dumb shyt if you're not careful :umad:

But I've gotten pretty good at it over the years and usually end up havin fun (I know a bunch of people who work there and always joke around & laugh with them)

I love riding my bmx high, I get into such a good groove and I always have a big smile on my face. People will see me smiling and smile back, I love it :lolbron:

Oh damn and dancing high is fun too :mj:

Jammin to hip hop, reggae or dancehall stoned is :ohlawd: :blessed:

Postin on the Coli is fun when you're stoned too

get new friends

/end thread

I've tried for a good 2 years to quit and always relapsed. Looking back #1 reason was being tempted by friends as they always had bud.

As soon as I dumped those losers I haven't relapsed once.

I don't believe weed is bad, but I strongly believe everyone needs a long long break (8 months minimum) and shouldn't smoke habitually (2-3 times a week) for more than 3 months.

Weed just completely kills motivation. It's funny it doesn't also kill ambition because you'd be sitting baked dreaming of glamorous things, but you never get shyt done. When I was smoking pot, I felt like I had all the time in the world. Now that I quit, I'm so god damn busy 24/7.

It's gonna be rough but it needs to happen. Help me out :mjcry:
the problem most people have with quitting something.. is not realizing why they needed/wanted it in the first place

take a day to think of everytime you say "man i just wanna smoke a blunt"

what are you doing during that time? what are you not doing?

whatever situations you find in life, that lead you to want to smoke... like "man shyt is boring, i need a blunt".... you need to find something to cover that up with.. you need a substitute activity or you're gonna be faced with smoking or..... nothing cause you nothing else there... so you gonna be smoking agian

shyt I wish it did all this for me.

Weed just diminishes me in every way.

For me, quitting was hard because my appetite was tied into smoking. So after smoking continuously for a few months, I would have no hunger for a week or so after quitting.
