Even though "LAD" went Diamond. Puff did drop the ball by not releasing MORE singles. There was technically only 3 singles released:

Hypnotize
Mo Money Mo Problems
Sky's The Limit/Going Back To Cali (B side)

"F*ckin You Tonight", "Love The Dough" and "Notorious Thugs" should of been singles. "Miss U" was good but they already had "Sky's the Limit". I've said this once and I'll say it again. If Biggie lived and got to put on more singles and tour, "LAD" would of sold 15x Platinum to double diamond.

Notorious Thugs should have been a single. even in 97 Bone was HUGE and a proper single/video for it weould have been dope. problem is getting someone or some kind of footage for the BIG verse

Even though fukkin You Tonight and Notorious Thugs wasn't proper singles, let's not act like those song weren't all over the radio from the time they dropped til shyt, you still hear BOTH of them now.

That's a single to me, I don't care if I can't go purchase a vinyl, label-sanctioned copy of it.

This is true to an extent. "Notorious Thugs' and "F@ckin U Tonight" both got on the Billboard Charts off airplay alone. But Biggie wasn't alive to make proper radio edits. But "F@ckin U Tonight" was "Loving U Tonight" on the radio so maybe Puff did have a few clean versions. The main thing is neither song got a video. This whole conversation is exactly why "Life After Death" was going to be a success no matter what. Biggie litterally had singles to push this album for over 2-3 years.
