i think he will file it, he has nothing to lose
He's not filing shyt. If it comes out down the line he juiced and is proven wrong in the court of public opinion so be it. If he's got sworn depositions and it comes out that he lied under oath, he's in a whole other world of hurt

Even if he was on something he was just doing what most of the other players were doing. Players like Bonds Pujols A-Rod Clemens etc. are all Hall of Famers and it would be a disservice to deny them entrance into Cooperstown. It can't be considered cheating when a lot of the players do it.

He won anyway so he doesn't have to file anything. Clark is fired in disgrace and might not be able to find a job because of this

The Fukk is a 10yr personal services contract:ohhh:

It means he can't be associated with any club except the Angels for 10 yrs.

So when he retires, if the Cardinals want to do an Albert Pujols bobble head night ... Pujols isn't allowed to show up.

Oh course pujols already won. He doesn't have to do a thing, and he has another 225 million coming in the next decade. People were already suspicious, and will continued to be as far as him being clean. My point was he won't be filing any kind of lawsuit, because that's the only way he can lose anything at this stage. Have a lil public ridicule if you get caught juicing, or sue and lie under oath, then get caught juicing and get thrown in jail

Wow, so Pujols won't be able to be his jersey by the Cardinals until like 2030 or so :damn:

Yep. It made a lot of people here in St. Louis mad. Seemed like a :pacspit: in the face to us, though I imagine on Pujols' end it wasn't meant to be that way. But then again, you never know. But just to show you EXACTLY why some St. Louis people hate on him, read this:

Let’s imagine this scenario: Pujols fulfills his 10-year playing contract with the Angels and retires from baseball in 2022. Barring unforeseen, bombshell circumstances, he would have to be considered a sure-fire first-ballot Hall of Famer at that time.

So, Pujols would then become eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2027 – five years after his retirement, but only halfway through his 10-year personal services commitment to Los Angeles.

It’s possible that by that time Pujols might consider himself an Angel more than he does a Cardinal, but as we most recently saw with Andre Dawson being inducted as a Montreal Expo and not a Chicago Cub, players have no say over what team’s cap appears on their Hall of Fame bust. The Hall decides that. So, based on his St. Louis feats, it’s a safe bet that Pujols will be enshrined as a Cardinal.

But, due to his contractual obligations, he won’t be able to really be a Cardinal at Cooperstown during Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.

It’s unlikely Pujols could don any Cardinals gear for photographs. He wouldn’t be able to sign autographs as a Cardinal. And he wouldn’t be able to appear in any capacity that represents the city of St. Louis or his former franchise.

MLB actually is banning personal services contracts now partly because of Pujols.
