he had to resort to cutting Cena-like promosbut the stans won't admit it.
Problem with Rock these days is instead of delivering ether he seems more concerned with having catchphrases trend on twitter.
Word he's too focused on "the people" and catch phrases now. He's not as natural with it as he used to be. Plus I believe PG era is holding him back. He can't go all the way in.

Rock needs to get on the same page as Punk. It's not just about the title and kicking somebody's ass. It's about a "bad guy" claiming he's the GOAT when he is in front of one of the biggest stars in wrestling history.
As I said in the RAW thread. The gloves need to come off and Rock needs to tell the truth about how Punk hasn't meant shyt for the business despite being a great wrestler and 400 days as champ, how he still doesn't main event and how he bytch and moans about everything.
He couldn't say that to Cena last year because he's their main guy and he was a face. Punk doesn't give a fukk, is a heel, and a better promo than Juanito. If Rock starts downplaying him as a "star", then we might have the GOAT mic wars

I didn't mind Cena saying that last year. Why the fukk would I mind the Rock saying it when he has an even stronger case than Juanito? And Punk won't react the same way as he did to Cena. That's why I want to see what happens.

Not only did Punk manage to take Rock down with a few choice words but his entire promo before Rock came out was legit. Punk was able to talk up Bryan while at the same time teared his ass down.
