Do you know what by default means? You can still shuffle. It just doesn't shuffle albums automatically when you hit play

imo, an album isn't great unless you can listen to it all the way through without skipping.
Plus the tracks should but put in order thats cohesive. like telling a story chapter by chapter.
an example would be Marvin Gaye's Whats Going On album.
this just my opinion though, i don't care if other people want to skip around or not.

Never understood why they had shuffle as default option for albums in the first place 
I started using Spotify in 2012 and in the last couple of years, they made it harder and harder to listen to albums, because they want you to listen to their whack ass playlists instead

Most albums are not in story telling mode and if they are the artist specifically states that the album is telling a story so it’s better to listen in order.
If you can give 10 albums like that in the past ten years that you have listened to, I would like to see it.
