Bryan has acknowledged Diego several times...interviewer is behind on facts.

I thought the same thing when I was watching it, which is unusual for Helwani. He may be a UFC flunky, but his interviews are usually spot on.

Great interview regardless.

Great interview.

If Punk could get himself up to a competitive level in MMA, Dana White would be all over that. A lot of MMA fans like to shyt all over any pro wrestlers who make the jump, but it's a fact that a dude who can talk and play the heel is money. Bottom line of course is that he has to be able to fight, and he's 35, so if he's gonna make the move he should do it now. I'm kinda hoping he does, even though I like him in WWE.
He'll never be tough or good enough for MMA :old:

You've seen him roll?

Anyway, he'd be better than James Toney, who got paid $500K for his only UFC fight.

Do you think he has the ability, flexibility or striking skills to make that jump? Batista thought that his injury ravaged body could make the jump with a bit of training and he nearly got schooled by a plumber.

I'm admittedly a bit of a Punk mark, but I'm not sure making that jump is a good idea no matter what the pay is. Plus, I'm not sure Punk's ego will allow him to make the jump unless he thought he could actually be pretty good at it. Judging from his fandom and answer to Helwani's question, that's not the case, so it's not happening.

Anything more than one fight and prolonged success is a longshot, definitely. I have no real idea how good he is, but he's a pretty intelligent dude and I doubt he'd even entertain the idea if he didn't think he was at least competitive.

All I'm really saying is that I'd love to see him give it a shot if he thinks he's capable. There is no question he could cash in because he's a natural heel, an excellent talker, he's well known, and as a pro wrestler he automatically offends the purists in the audience. That all spells money in the UFC. He'd be a guaranteed draw, and win or lose he could return to wrestling and incorporate the whole experience into his gimmick if he wanted to.

On top of all that, since he seems so uninspired in WWE lately, something like this could give his career the shot in the arm it needs.

Beadle was getting passive aggressive as fukk on twitter the other day

Yikes. I called three friends 'f-faces' today. I'm the worst.

The world is too soft, my friend. RT @dkraft0: @MichelleDBeadle light day for you. You're way behind your quota.

Honestly, this is just a culture clash. WWE locker room seems to be about respect highly and not that Beadle can't joke with him, but calling him a "fukkface" at his place of work, in front of his co-workers and girlfriend, I can see him feeling a certain way about that. Especially if you are not the joking type, which Punk rarely seems like.

:ohhh:
I thought the same thing too when I watched it but fukk that was quick. More than the money thing, I think he's bummed that he really wasn't able to change with the run he had 3 years ago. Everything went back to being the same.

For anybody that hasn't seen the interview yet
