you really have zero knowledge of this story... you making yourself look stupid

if push wanted to be drake and wayne, he'd be asking for ye and neptunes to give him those pop records time after time. have you ever seen pusha, push a pop single? when has he actually tried to blow? when was he making lead singles as club bangers and girl records? nobody tries to blow being a coke rapper.. even the ones you bout to name, blew cause they made radio hits and songs for women... the coke raps didn't do it for them

if anything he'd be mad at jeezy or ross.. who took that style to millions... but he aint.

THIS IS WHAT STARTED IT... and it was No Malice who started it... not push.. and it was wayne who admitted he copied it from pharrell then dissed him.. everything after that was collateral damage. push got in it cause that's his man and his brother.... drake got thrown in cause wayne... shyt gillie was going against wayne and ab liva is with major figgas AND re-up gang..

this was crew beef from jump that trickled into being the only two left of the crews... push and drake.. nobody care what wayne nor malice gotta say anymore on the subject.. jabs and slights been thrown from both sides the whole time. drake been throwing them, push been throwing them

wasn't shyt about record sales and wanting to be a star

2006: Clipse vs. Lil Wayne

In 2006, Lil Wayne was the cover star of Vibe magazine’s April issue, clad in the popular streetwear brand BAPE, which at the time grew in popularity thanks to Pharrell Williams and was worn a lot by Clipse. The Virginia-bred duo wasn’t too fond of Wayne wearing the brand and released “Mr. Me Too” -- produced by Pharrell -- in which No Malice rapped, “Wanna know the time? Better clock us/ N---as bite the style from the shoes to the watches.”

That same year, Wayne sat down for an interview with Complex and addressed Clipse’s subliminal diss. “You talking to the best. Talk to me like you’re talking to the best. I don’t see no fukkin’ Clipse. Come on man,” Wayne said. “Weezy, man. They had to do a song with us to get hot, B. 'What Happened to That Boy?' C’mon, B.”

Wayne even called out Pharrell, saying, “Who the fukk is Pharrell? Do you really respect him? That n---a wore BAPEs and y’all thought he was weird. I wore it and y’all thought it was hot.”

I'm making myself look stupid? :ohhh: :mjlol:

Put your pom pom's down, sugar.

You're making yourself look like a fanboy cheerleader in here writing think pieces about some damn rappers beefing over clothes.

Think piece?

You had to think about that? I posted facts of the timeline. You posting make believe psycho analysis of why’s and how’s.

Facts is facts. That’s how it started. Malice vs Wayne

Every rapper wears BAPE though lol

They were jealous of tunechi.

Unless they're admitting Wayne made BAPE hot in these streets.

Yeah nikka, you took a good 10 - 15 minutes out of your life to write all that, doing research and shyt, over some bullshyt that started because of some clothes.

"Nigo loaned them clothes to Pharrell first!" :stopitslime:

You ought to be ashamed of yourself. :russ:

No Wayne admitted it. He clearly said Pharrell was wearing it then he made it hot

Are we really doing this? We really acting like rappers don’t get noticed for starting trends? Pharrell and his whole team was buddy buddy with the creator of bape and brought it to america

Another rapper takes that entire look and copies it, and we pretending rappers don’t take offense to those type of things. Stealing styles or looks?

I didn’t say it was the coolest thing to be beefing about. I said it didn’t start over no “I wanna be like drake and I’m upset now” when drake wasn’t even around then

Surely didn’t take me long. Most was copied and pasted from articles. But nice try

Keep making more scenarios in your head. It’s working out perfectly

Do you know where the song p*ssy fits in? They were clearly dissing somebody on that, but it was from 2004, before the Clipse/Wayne beef became public...

That's probably the worst interview I've seen in ages. Flex is terrible. The constant repeating and returning to questions previously asked, the weird prolonged outbursts, the rants...what the fukk. And you can tell Pusha was uncomfortable. Why was this 90 minutes? Not even the Breakfast Club one was that long.

SOHH ICEY N.O.
No, I'm speaking about the relevant parts.

All he said was when Wayne was asked about the Bape shyt, he said "I ain't trying to be like them nikkas, I'm riding around in million dollar tour buses."

That's enough for this nikka to hold a decade long grudge on the whole label?

He admitted that Baby never had a problem with him.

And please point out when Drake dissed Push?

Flex even pointed out that Drake gave an interview talking about how big of a fan he was...

This whole shyt stems from the fact that Push has always been jealous of them nikkas.

Point blank.
Wayne said fukk the clipse in that interview and pretty much said they was broke

He also P was werido and nobody wanted to dress like him

I think that warrents diss records

Flex is a weirdo. Look how weird he was being whispering and getting all close to Pusha

Him and Zane Lowe are the worst interviewers in music.

Flex did this with Fat Joe too last year when discussing the Remy and Nicki beef. I remember watching it and seeing him spit in Fat Joe’s face by accident

Oh man, Zane Lowe. Dude is trash. I can't stand interviewers who basically ask the questions the label/management/etc wants them to ask. You get nothing form his interviews, not even a real conversation.

"oh man that was awesome, so how did it happen" :hhh:
