My ghetto heroes is hard. I don’t know these nikkas making bangers with this terrible rapping but this might be better than ghetto d. That’s when I got onto P.

But I’ll give it you homie @Ed MOTHERfukkING G

P was talking that shyt on damn near every song on here.
Well, I guess my point was proven. Unless your arbitrary "every song about coke" which the clipse didn't even really cover the hurdle, wasn't met. Coke rhymes weren't innovated by the clipse. I mean he named the album ICE CREAM MAN.

E-40 and master P were making albums worth of songs about coke before 2000

It's also crazy that Jim said Noone wants to be like Pusha while bigging up Drake. Who wanted to be like Pusha so bad he bought a fake autographed Mic from Ebay. Lol

Drake put Lord Willin in his top 5 albums of all time

But Clipse had no impact or influence :hubie:

Act like clipse ain’t ain’t push the Bape wear

Act like clipse ain’t help Neptune’s become legends

Act like push ain’t influence weezy and drake

Act like Story Of Addidon don’t exist.

Then again Jim wants to run back a versus with the lox so it shows me how delusional he is.

Lol at the Clipse helping the Neptunes become legends.

If you read the interview, Pharrell was just trying to get them to the studio so he threatened them like “come over now or I’ll give it to Hov” so they’d speed over

These dudes will say anything to downplay these nikkas. We got homie in here saying Young fukking Jeezy wasn’t a coke rapper just so he can say nobody was copying
It was so bad for Jeezy that when he tried to get on his grown man rap for thug motivation 3, consumers rejected that supply and he ain’t been the same since.

Yes they did first full length productions was with the clipse He’ll Hath No Fury is considered a classic and some have lord willing as a classic.

But let me guess you’re a hip hop head that was bumping Britney Spears I’m a slave 4 u and Justin timberlake in the streets… and all his other pop tracks right ?

Jim doesn't want any parts of Pusha on the mic. Cam is a journalist now he won't have time to save him.

Funny how you ain’t answer my question

Yea In the pop world they were stamped but they had no grittiness to them as I I before if they stopped at 2001 they would’ve been stargate,Dr. Luke and Max Martin. The Neptune’s sound was getting gimmicky and easy to identify showcasing the Clipse help diversify The Neptunes who could’ve possibly been pigeonholed due to former success.

Tyler the creator was specifically inspired by the Clipse second album.

The Neptunes didn’t change their style up after doing production on Lord Willin. They still did what they were doing prior to it and no one was complaining. They were gonna be legendary with or without the Clipse is my point

Think for just a minute Coli brehs -
"What if" (like the Marvel comic series)
Pusha T makes a Jim Jone's diss record? Think about it. Jim has hits, he's a worthy opponent. Surgical summer 2 - 2023 - you know - for Hip Hop.

Pusha T LITERALLY has that power in him. It's a simple decision that would be an incredible power move for all involved - as long as they keep it on record, as artists and nowhere near street involvement. Just for the art.

THIS I feel is the one move that would kick start summer.

:wow:

Just imagine that!

It's actually a scary thought. Exciting, but scary.

Also, I personally know an incredible high caliber artist in the industry - who actually admires Push.

Yes - Pusha T DOES - fall into that category of "an emcee's emcee"

He just so happens in hover in Grammy territory which makes it more great.

You can NOT fukk around with Pusha T. It's something serious.

It's kinda beyond rap even.

I have never seen a diss record like the Drake one. I love Drake and he's great - even after the diss.

But that diss defines "disrupter" it changed everything. And it had the casual Drake pop listener check for Push - so they saw what real rap is.

It was one of Hip Hop's greatest moments. But it was fukked.

That 40 diss was way out of pocket and I hope Push prayed about that and let it all go.

I just want blessings for everyone.

Jim Jones should make a new album. Not diss Nas and Push.
