"Grindin" had impact though. "Let Me Love You" was Justin Timberlake's debut as a solo artist even though I'd say "Cry Me A River" was the record that really made his solo career.

Jada was never the Top MC and The Lox was never the top group. Same is true of Pusha T and The Clipse.
I agree with all of this, but will say that Jada’s “moment” in 2001 leading up to his disappointing debut eclipsed any moment Pusha had as a solo artist.

The impact argument is a copout to fit the narrative at the moment. Its largely a meaningless metric when it comes quality of music because artists are never 1:1 comparison.

Soulja boy certainly has had more impact on the direction of pop rap than freddie gibbs in his lane. But Freddie has shyt like pinata :mjlol: you telling me as a fan of good rap music soulja is more deserving of being on a top rapper list cuz he basically was the forefather of a lot of wack shyt.

Hell lil b has more impact than a lot of nikkas favorites :mjpls: lets not go down this road

This is why these lists are bullshyt. The goal posts get moved constantly and everyone is biased. Some of these lists are so heavily weighted towards sales and impact it's almost like actual rapping is irrelevant.

Jim trying to use the fashion angle because that's the only thing he can use to prop himself up with Dip Set :stopitslime:

People will try to leave Drake off entirely because of a ghostwriter but include Snoop, Nelly, and others who did the same.

Nelly and Missy are not better at rapping than Push but they had hits yet artists with less or no hits are rated higher than them due to being better lyrically :why:

Longevity is a criteria but Lil Kim will be in the list. Even Nicki will be on there :what:

People need to just say who their favorites are and stop trying to make definitive lists. It's pointless.

This is no order, but that’s 50 greater than Pusha T. I will admit 45-50 gets a little dicey and he may be able to fit if it’s someone’s preference.

Then you have guys like Fabolous who are ahead of him as well

Hell no alot of those people you named ain't better then pusha foh

NEPTUNES CONNECTION
MADE THE CLIPSE RELEVANT.

KANYE CONNECTION
MADE PUSH RELEVANT.

I SAY THIS AS SOMEONE
WHO fukkS WITH PUSH.

THOSE 2 CONNECTIONS ARE
THE ONLY REASON HE ISNT LOOKED
AT LIKE ONE OF THE MANY
DECENT LYRICAL RAPPERS
NOT ON THE LIST WHO
CANT MAKE GREAT SONGS.

THERES NO WAY PUSHA SHOULD
BE ON THE LIST BUT JUVIE ISNT.

JUVIE MADE AN ACTUAL IMPACT ON RAP.
PUSH DID NOT.

Pusha makes great songs tho

They don't have to exceed in all 5..

There has never been a point where nationally or regionally nikkas were wildin out to a pusha t album/verse/song/mixtape

This is Jim's whole point...

I think pusha last album was good, but Jim ain't tellin no lies

If you are talking top 50 pusha is in that.
We talking about 50 rappers after the top 20
Its personal preference

Pusha T has good albums but lyrically he's the most one-dimensional rapper of all time. He has shown zero progression artistically since he debuted... which says a lot.
Ehhh.. I see what you're saying, but we appreciate Pusha for HIS coke rap lane. Its great slick talk rap. Same with Benny...

Pusha even make his coke rap sound more believable than say when Jada give coke lines. Jada doesnt sound believable at all.

I dont need Pusha to talk about anything else. I got other rappers I listen to for introspective shyt.. or party bangers.. etc...
