Yea I already know, but hip hop has evolved so much from the 90s ( when I started listening) to the present day.
Good thing about streaming era an artist can control his destiny

Although there isn't a song I really dislike, one of my minor gripes with this is it sounds like 2 albums mashed up to me.

Man, the beats are absolutely wasted on Pusha T. Same boring ass flows and delivery

Typical hater like post. Pharrell production is so vibrant but menacing he kinda forced Push to switch up his delivery. Biggie like flow on “Brambleton”, 50 like flow on “Neck&Wrist” and Mase type flow on “1-800- CALL MY BLUFF”. I can appreciate the different cadences used on this.

The only track I dislike (automatic skip) is Rock n Roll. The production sounds like a cheap, mid 2000s throwaway Kanye beat and the Cudi hook is atrocious. The Kanye vocals are weak too.

It's ironic that's the track that Ye and Pharrell produced together

Poor Malice. He still doesn’t want anything to do with this life

Bruh, think about it. Malice is the only person in history to curve God and he just had to take the L. Duke gave up rap to go to God and gospel and truly did turn his life around and invest in it all. But only to now do what he did on this track, rap a line or two as gospel guy and then make a metaphor saying if I was the old me, then POOF, he becomes old/real Malice for the rest of the verse. Then he's back to Godly man. The ultimate swurve

I meant that particular song with the John Lennon loop. Just super dull and corny sounding to me. But generally I find Pusha T to be a snoozefest.
