i'm a novice ...what u mean portfolio?

How much you got to spend and are you prepared to lose?:pachaha:

If you answer yes to the 2nd question, then you are ready to play with stocks..

It's a lot of research that goes into if your a small time investor and hoping to catch something before it grows..

Also certain things outta your control like a can send your shyt to the dumps:beli:

Invest in stuff you have some knowledge about. Look into the company’s past and what they’re presently working on.

I’m building up money to finally start investing after watching for awhile but one bug opportunity I missed on was the Ebola virus... they came out and mentioned a company that was developing a cure. I thought about using my 2000 in savings all on that company at 8 dollars a share that day.... one week later it was at 35 dollars a share.

It’s all about following where the market is going.

Yeah its about growth...

It also depends if your an investor that believes in the long term prospects of a company or an investor who sells at a certain price..

If you believe a company can be the next amazon, then you stack and stack

If you believe a company has only a temporary shelf life, you ride the wave and then sell

At this current moment put like 500 on the side to play with...

Then you can start researching and investing just to get the feel of whats going on

Also on another note, look into wefunder and other companies that allows you to invest in startups at its earliest stage..

You should start with the Robinhood app (commission free trades)

They keep it simple and easy to purchase stocks and ETF’s (Exchange Traded Funds)

You have to figure what kind of investor you want to be. I’ll give you this much advise....

Keep your portfolio diversified

Buy low/Sell High
