listen to The Pink Lavalamp. If you don't like it, then he's probably not your cup of tea.
Personally, I still listen to that project like once a week. Crazy how much talent dude wasted. He could spit and had the ability to pick some amazing samples and flip them.

Man I'm 30 and this nikka charles was spitting knowledge at 19... Pretty wild I can go back and listen to this and it still holds up.
Like I said in other threads, imo his music is pretty timeless. I still listen to his joints to this day.... he was a genius of this game to bad what looks like mental issues, drugs and personality problems killed all his momentum.
I'll say he is realer than most of these studio rappers that run around now.
edit: if you go search for his music there are literally about 20+ mixtapes of his stuff. 80% of it is trash. But its what you expect from someone that writes and freestyles everything that comes to mind. The gem's are diamonds though

Charles was/is ahead of his time. I've met dude several time and he is crazy as shyt but genius crazy. He's mad intelligent and deep. I still keep up with his music and besides falling from the industry he has a solid fanbase. He will be considered an internet legend 10 years from now. I've personally asked him why he releases so much music and he simply answered i am always trying to innovate sound. I respect him he can play the piano , guitar and he is literally the best freestyler i have ever witnessed.
