I feel like it being your race/ religion is important because we simply have a stronger connection to our own and when it comes to self help I think reading about someone you can relate to helps the message get across

Grab a meditation book. Find someone you like or it’ll never hit you u the way it’s supposed to

meditation is hard but don’t let anyone fool you
