I grew up in the era when Redman was big, but for some reason he just never really caught my attention and I feel like I really missed something. He was dope on the All Eyez on Me feature, but that's mostly all I ever heard from him.

What have I missed? What are his best features and songs and albums? Hook it up.

Muddy Waters is a good place to start just because its his most easily accessible music. e sermon has got some funky beats and redman kills it. good for blazing to. if you like that id then go for Dare Iz a Darkside which is my personal fav. Its a lil darker, a lil more "out there", i heard red was doing a lot of acid around this time but who knows. Docs Da Name is underrated as hell and one of the best releases that came out in 98. his first joint Whut: Thee Album is before red truly perfected his craft IMO. theres some bangers on there but does sound a little dated.

red is in my top 10 all time

dog you got so much crack ahead :ohlawd:

start with Muddy, then Dare then the rest should be easy depending on what era you prefer. if you cant come up with at least 3 best of's between his first 4 albums/Blackout and Def Squad you prolly just arent into Redman

I agree with the two posts above.
Muddy Waters, then Dare Iz A Darkside, then go from there.

His first three albums are undeniable classics. His sound really stated to develop on the latter two (Dare Iz A and Muddy Waters). Definitely one of the best deliveries in hip-hop history.

Some of my favorites from those three albums:

my favorite guest feature of his:

I'm sure you've heard this before at some point:
