Always intriguing to me that The maybe simpler ears of the average US consumer can't fukk with something for something as simple as a different accent while a lot of the US tastemakers and creatives seem to be more open minded and enjoy the shyt.

US consumers seem to have to be pretty much told something is cool to fux with it.

I don't really get the maturity angle unless you only like conscious rap or something. Good grime music is such an accurate depiction of Londons whole vibe and aesthetic imo

I mess with VERY little of it. Dizzee Rascal is fantastic I think he transcends the genre tbh. Boy in the Corner isn't something I'll burn the tape on but I've listened to it a few times and like it for the most par.t
