Always intriguing to me that The maybe simpler ears of the average US consumer can't fukk with something for something as simple as a different accent while a lot of the US tastemakers and creatives seem to be more open minded and enjoy the shyt.

US consumers seem to have to be pretty much told something is cool to fux with it.

Yeah, their accents affects their delivery, which in turn affects how the song is received. UK Grime is some of the worst rap I've ever heard.

I don't even like Grime anymore tbh a lot of these new MC's coming through just sound the same.

Only guy I'm feeling atm is Rocks FOE

All this shyt you hear from likes of Complex about Grime being a force again is nonsense. It's just not the early 2000's anymore.

UK Rap (yes Grime and Rap are two different things) is a lot stronger IMO but a key thing to remember is that most of the big UK rap guys grew up on grime and actually used to do it themselves.
