I appreciate the looks bruh but I wouldn't really rock any of those save for the Saab or Saturn. I didn't think the miles were that big of an issue with the Volks but I appreciate the heads up. I'm not that desperate since I already have reliable transport. Just trying to find something relatively nice at a low cost, if at all possible. I guess I'll start giving the details that I'm looking for in a car since it looks like classic is out of the question

Something Compact
Relatively Good on Gas
Something that looks good.

I'm used to parking anywhere and maneuvering easily with my bike. I'd like the same features in a car.

If u dont need a big back seat a STOCK 1997-2001 Honda Prelude is your best bet. Old (and new) BMWs can be high maintenance. Some other cars to think about:

Acura RSX
Infiniti G20
Infiniti I30/I35
Mazda 3
Mazda 6
Mitsubishi Lancer (current body)
Nissan Maxima
Nissan Altima (3.5 only)
Saab 9-3 (newer ones)
Subaru WRX
Toyota Celica
Toyota Corolla XRS

get yourself a bimmer. E46 3 Series.
What he said. reliable, fast enough, can take alot of miles, won't feel like a tin can after 2 years, timeless styling .

Also look into some Volvos. Very reliable and usually cheaper than the germans

he'll be a lucky son of a hoe if he finds a well maintained E46 for $5k. Idk about your location, but near mint, well maintained ones still go for the $9-$10k+ price range around here. don't even get me started on the models with the ZHP Performance Package. :whew:
