It actually is not a good thing. You need to put the gas that is recommended for you car. When I got my first car (buick) never had problems until I put premium when they reccomend regular. Car was fukking up the whole. Just stopping every where and shaking. Never put nothing other regular in any other car and never had that issue again. SIMPLEDiesel nozzles don’t even fit gasoline tanks

Sounds like a misfire and/or bad combustion. The gas probably wasn’t the issue. In MOST cases premium is fine for any gas car.
I did that once about a decade ago. luckily it was rented, so I just didn't start it, had them tow it and drain it. never again will I make that mistake tho.me and my coworker put diesel in the school box truck while working a year ago. everything was cool for about a mile then the engine was like
truck slowed to a crawl and was emitting smoke, we managed to get it back to the shop but it was touch and go. amazingly the engine didn't go bad, they just had to drain it and change the filter.
we had gas fobs and lost the one to that specific truck and used another one thinking it would be fine, but the one we used was for a diesel truck and the pumps all look the same.

Yea putting 87 in a car that requires 93 is not that big of a deal on a stock unmodified car. Your gas milage will be shyt though. If you put diesel in your car you will need to disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter and let all that diesal pump out.
This. It will retard the timing via knock sensors and you’ll lose HP, but that’s usually the most of it
