Self defense. And no, you don’t have to actually get touched to legally defend yourself. If you have an aggressor in front of you who’ been cursing and getting all animated with you, and then all of a sudden he makes a move towards you all while yelling his head off about fighting you, then yeah that is sufficient enough of a threat to legally defend yourself by any means

Are two different things. Self defense protocols are in place to ensure a reasonable escalation of force. Dudes ball up their fists and gesture all the time only to not do a damn thing. The shooter would have to prove without a shadow of a doubt that his life was in danger. That video doesn’t show that.
