Not true at all, he was all over the TNA/Spike & TNA/DestAmerica issues. He's the one who revealed why they were dropped from each network, and had the story of them almost selling to Jarrett & Toby and why it didn't happen.

He had all the news on Tanahashi's shoulder injury recently, why Fale didn't jump to WWE, Ibushi leaving.

His sources are credible & he knows his shyt.

Meltzer's been wrong as fukk covering puroresu breh. His sources are most likely people that work on Tokyo Sports, a magazine known for exaggerating shyt and creating "news" out of nothing. Dave does have good info from time to time, but he's very hit and miss when it comes to Japan at least.

Again, I respect him for covering so much ground in such a short span of time each week, he's by far the best at covering the business. And he does have some really valuable info, but let's not go crazy with the guy either.

Him talking about New Japan going under during Inokism (early-mid 2000's) when that was never the case is the classic example.

When he reported the Dome was "sold out" for Wrestle Kingdom IX and not realizing that New Japan only put limited tickets on sale.

There's some stuff about NOAH and All Japan too but I honestly don't remember. I do recall going when going to other boards and realizing how wrong Dave was about certain stuff.

Enjoy his shows, enjoy the newsletter for the recaps and the historic stuff, but always take his SCOOPZ with a grain of salt, and I can't believe he's a functional human being. Anything outside wrestling or MMA seems like a mysterious topic for him

I never got the critism of meltzer he one of the best at covering wrestling and is repected/ tolerated by pretty much everyone. Your not always gonna be correct especially when breaking news and writing about hearsay and rumors. I think he should chill with double talk but I get why he does it.

I think wwe is so predictable that in a lot of cases he's able to just throw shyt against the wall and it'll stick... If you've been watching wrestling for as long as he has, especially wwe and Vince it's not hard to guess where shyt is going...

I'm sure he has sources but I think he guesses a lot too
