Putting my dawg down after work today

rest in peace. I had my dog put down late last year. That shyt stings. I will never get another pet. my dog can't be replaced and i can't do THAT again.

I been thinking about doing one of those dog walking gig-economy jobs like wag (or whatever it's called) kust to get that dog energy though.

One thing i learned after mine passed was when you go to the restroom and your dog is there with you or watching the door, it's because in a pack dogs watch each other back when they poop because that's when they're most vulnerable.

I did yesterday as I was petting him at night. Only because as I reminisced he winked at me. He never does that ever. He likes to be held or/and pet but he won’t stare at you, he looks away or snuggles. He all sick and too weak to do either one. My dawg just winked at me breh

Condolences breh, I put my dog down 2 years ago and it was one of the toughest things I experienced. I kept it together up until it was time to leave for the appointment to put him down, I called his name and immediately broke down, had to put my hand on the wall and try to regroup but it took a few tries. I got him in the car and he refused to go in the passenger seat and just laid on my lap while I drove listening to 3 little birds by Marley and shed tears the whole way.

I’ll only post older healthy pics. My boy got mad tumors on his throat. To the point he could barely eat anything yesterday. It’s been sometime and the pain medicine been solid. He’s suffering.
