This is looking like the 3rd QB in a row that was either BOOM or BUST in their play.
They all were extremely talented and had the physical traits to be special. They all showed flashes making insanely wild plays here and there, but the common thread was that they could not consistently make the layup throws and just string together enough solid play to win games.
Caleb's inaccuracy is alarming because we saw that last year and just thought it was because of the play calling and scheme being too complex. And if he's just not accurate, that's something that you cannot just fix overnight. You damn near have to build up all of his mechanics and how he gets to the throw. I don't know if that's what Ben Johnson signed up for, but we're about to see how this shyt plays out.
DJ Moore checked out last year IMO because Caleb was missing him all season too

Caleb had the same issues last night that he had last year.
Absolutely this, the ghost of Cody Parkey haunts us to this day. I saw a cac kick clean for 59 yards the other day, in this modern era of football Santos just doesn't cut it. I miss when our special teams unit was elite as well.

ESPN has a better opinion of Caleb than you guys do.
Even last year, bro was missing passes that were unacceptable. He was shielded in a grace period because the coaching staff was not great.

The Bears don’t bounce back after bad losses. I think the Detroit game will be a blowout. They had every chance to start the season off with a win, and take that momentum into Detroit.
I wouldnt be shocked if they win and caleb looks otherworldly.
