There have been rumors floating around that Vince McMahon was not present at the 2021 Royal Rumble. It is correct that he was not physically present as he was said to be attending to a personal matter but McMahon watched the event via the WWE Network and was in constant conversation with WWE officias and "directing traffic" via phone. It was not a case of McMahon not being involved with the active production of the show.

Michael Hayes produced the Last Man Standing match with Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens.

Chris "Abyss" Park produced the WWE Championship match.

TJ Wilson produced Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (Carmella).

The Men's Rumble was produced by a team that included Shane McMahon, Jason Jordan and Jamie Noble, among others.

Serious question: How much impact can a producer play in the quality of any given match? I know Pat Patterson put together the Hogan/Warrior match at WM 6, and that's why it was actually good.

Serious question: How much impact can a producer play in the quality of any given match? I know Pat Patterson put together the Hogan/Warrior match at WM 6, and that's why it was actually good.

If both guys are green and have a dope match then it's probably thanks to the producer. Other than that, it's probably a combo of everyone involved.
