But as far as versatility, php always wins. No custom modules to import. And it is especially perfect for the web crawling activity you’re so eager about.

Yeah, I've used it off and on.

I've tried building some web backends with Rust, but it's honestly overkill and Golang kills it for most of the crud and server stuff.
