go after the marketing teams, the label heads, put everybody
on blast.
I don't see it happening too soon though,THAT shift hasn't happened yet from what I can see.
People on this website moan about what the radio isn't
playing and who the labels aren't signing.

They'd have to be apathetic towards labels before they could
truly attack them or cause any change.

People still look to major labels to serve them music and new artists,
the second labels feel the heat from actual competition that "pay for play"
and "Listen to who I tell you to" shyt will likely cease.

But for most people especially when it pertains to Black music, when
you say "Independent Label" it's like you just asked for the bathroom in Japanese.
