yeah RIP but dude's site is responsible for furthering negative stereotypes of African Americans
both him and Vlad

that said the music platform and candy section:ohlawd:

:mjcry:RIP
That's bs, he didn't create the content that was on the site, if it wasn't on his site it would be elsewhere. May as well not listen to rap music too if you worried about content giving blacks a negative image.

U don't respect him because he posts videos of people acting a fool....at the end of the day a fool is a fool, sadly there are many black fools

He is no different than your favourite rapper making a music video glorifying the bullshyt ur actually ashamed of,

Some of you scream this" black love ...I luh my black pee'pus" shyt but are so quick to quote a line that makes black lives meaningless ....aka the "nikka die everyday b"

Funny enough....a movie that depicted the thing you shame another man for

Anyway, let's just leave it as that

Posts like this are rare because posts like this are real. More zombie ass mindless black men than strong independent thinkers who can see the hypocrisy of the majority and remain objective.

Real recognize real breh.

RIP

but damn this dudes death literally not 0 coverage or anything. just seen it now.

wasn't trending on twitter or anything at all. nobody gives a fukk but RIP
I'm not trying to speak maliciously towards the dead, but in the grand scheme of things WorldStar isn't that big. Yeah, it's a very popular site, but it's not close to a household name like Facebook or Twitter. Even though the site was/is entertaining, it did help perpetuate negative stereotypes about black people and let racist trolls run rampant in the comment section. I don't really hold it against him since I'm sure that wasn't his intentions, but it's hard to celebrate his creation either.

That being said, "WorldStar" was a trending topic on Twitter and I'm sure there were plenty of reactions towards his passing, just not as big as the recent celebrity deaths though.

there a thing called the feed back loop i learned in school if you show people acting out and thats the only image they see of themselves , they want to act out more

here a documentary about how the media mess with youth perceptions of reality

I was talking on voicesless radio, and they said that world star hiphop is like McDonald's that people choose to go there, but I said like when people get heart disease and diabetes, it affects the community, and WorldStarHipHop inspired kids to fight more and act out for the camera. Kids who don't get fair shot.

I don't expect anyone in this world to be perfect. I'm far from perfect, but I've always believed in balance. I believe it's your duty not to do more harm than you need to. An try to do better if you can....

May the dude rest in peace, let it be a lesson to Black men to take care of their health because there's been a lot of dudes in my age range that have dropped dead from heart conditions, obesity, etc.

I'll be honest, I do feel a little mixed about the legacy of his website Worldstar, though, on hand it was a major piece of Black owned media, on the other hand it has also been used as a conduit for showcasing the most negative aspects of our community.
