Who is making excuses? This is a guy who has improved every season he's played. I just don't think that he should be put in the same category as guys who have been in the league and have been coasting on mediocrity. Unless you want Matt Moore back or Chad Henne or something like that.

The dolphins been coasting on mediocrity since 09 :wow:

But the team has invested in the defense and the QB. The defense finally showed up while Tannehill hasnt. I understand the coach was hated by everyone in the locker room but now the gloves is off and we get to see if Tanny is worth a 96mil contract.

Ok let's do this. If you are booting these QBs, who are you replacing them with? If it's a player in the league what do you trade to get them and if it's a college player, what round/pick would be they be available in?

For who replaces them. Wash it was make or break for RG3. But instead they went ahead and gave that loser Cousin the keys.

Cle took Johnny, why not let him play out a whole season instead of losing with 40 year old career backup McClown.

The Chiefs took a qb in the last draft. NFL needs to bring back developing qbs and letting them get real playing time. Not sign some washed 30 something year old qb who they think can win now for the these coaches

I actually think the Dolphins defense was better last year. That Ndomukung Suh pickup hasn't been what we thought it would be, though he was really good this week, let's just see what how the Dolphins react to the coaching over the course of the season, because I never liked the Philbin hire.

Mccown's actually played fairly well this year.

There is a reason he is starter and Johnny isn't.

Yeah sure, he played great against the Ravens. And thats his only win of the season. Johnny has one win as a starter as well this season. Why not fully determine if that thug woman beater is a true bust and let him play out the season so theres no doubt in anybodies mind. Cle takings a QB next year. McClown isnt starting next year regardless of how he plays well in losses.

All this points out is how bad QB's are in this era.

No way in hell should average QB's like Tannehill, Stafford, Cutler and Matt Ryan......yea i said it, Matt Ryan, command 20 million/year. The talent pool for that position is so shallow right now that qb's with one playoff win, are getting set for life.
