Davis should win the MVP, but that award has basically been the Nickelodeons Kids Choice Award in the NBA over the last decade.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
:what: What part don't you understand? No one has ever left the team that had their draft rights after their rookie deal because financially it makes no sense and no agent in the world would suggest it yet you think AD will be the first? You're a Lakers fan right?

He could do it, the new TV deal coming around could change things and they've done a miserable job building around him already.

My Pops Forever RIP
First of you're wrong. Lee did a sign and trade with the Knicks and if they wanted to keep him he would've stayed. And the Bulls didn't offer Gordon a max deal like the Pelicans will offer Davis. I should've said no player has ever turned down a max deal from the team that had their bird rights. Of course if a team low balls a player he'll walk. Who walked away from a max deal?
That doesn't mean he was an RFA. He played 5 years in NY. He was an RFA in 2009, NOT 2010. He re-upped for 1 year at $7 mil so he could be a FA in 2010..

Gordon played out his deal because he wanted more than what Chicago was offering.

But the list I gave you were players who played out their entire rookie deal period. I'm not saying Davis will do that (obviously not).

Too much bread to pass up. The new TV deal only means that's more money he'd be walking away from. If he was to sign a qualifying offer for 1 year he'd be leaving at least 20 million on the table. If anything he'd do what Dwight did and sign an extension and demand a trade.

what team would you like to see AD on?

Not sure, all they had to do was tank his first two years and they'd have more talent than they do now. Hell, the Magic would probably be a title contender with him this year :russ:

He's too good for them to get a top 10 pick now and his teammates are just :ld: , it's the same thing that happened to LeBron & KG.
