hey i dont know the gist of shyt...but from the outside looking in he was Nas' next protege in the long list of Nas proteges who did nothing with their career...i assumed Nas' lack of business skill and ability to build an artist coupled with Quan's street mentality just wasnt gonna be a successful mix.
Yet another lame myth. Nas lack of business savvy. Yet yet has had a successful career for over 20 years. The facts don't support you. Majority of rapper run labels were failures. That's most of them. He is not the exception but the rule. How many rapper labels actually succeded?

Save your assumptions

i know nas is killing it in the venture capitalist game and all that. i didnt mean business overall though i just meant building artists not named Nas really. he hasnt had the best success with that. im not saying no one else failed...just thats a factor in why Quan didnt blow. not the biggest factor, but its one of them.

Yet again Nas had no control over quans career. Quan didn't want to be his protege

Nas is NOT a factor in why Quan didn't blow up. What don't you get? Quan went his own direction. He was not signed to Nas ever. Since when does doing a song with someone make you responsible for their career? :dahell:

Nashawn was a Nas protege who he was responsible for career wise. Quan was a feature on one song but somehow Nas factors into his failures? :dahell:
